Forest Department Controls Elephant Safaris !

Like any other packages, Forest Department officials control everything for the elephant safaris too! Right from booking to issue of permits and allocating the elephants and their mahouts, the officials at the Forest Department take care of everything. Some important things to know :

  • The Department does not allow advance booking of this safari package.
  • The visitors must obey the mahouts while the ride continues.
  • The visitors can carry a few things, like Camera, Sunglasses, Medicines, Sunscreen lotion, extra clothes, etc.
  • The booking is not transferable and not refundable.
  • The visitors must take care of their possessions.
  • They should join the trip right at the designated spot only!
